The volunteer opportunity that i am researching is to volunteer for the NSMBA and do mountain biking trail work. The job entails work/maintenance on mountain biking trails on the north shore mountains (Mt. Seymour, Mt. Cypress and Mt. Fromme). This job would benefit me because i am looking for a career in the mountain biking industry as a racer. this job would give me some of the resources that i would need via connections through the NSMBA. I am passionate about getting involved in this sport/job because i love mountain biking, it is one of my favorite things to do and the community is great.
The job opportunity that i am currently researching in our community is at Dunbar cycles in North Van as a online sales associate. this opportunity would give me experience for if i do end up not making it in the biking industry, it would give me qualifications for any job that involves online markets. I currently am qualified for this position and the only steps that i would need to take is be legal age to work in Canada.
Job qualifications:
