Two Things I Did Well:
- I believe that the topic I chose was very personal and original. I was able to reflect upon my mother`s experience of immigrating to Canada, appealing to many students with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- I was also very proud of the way that I used my body language during the presentation. I rehearsed most of the movements beforehand and wrote them down on my reference sheet. I think doing this added more meaning to my poetry piece.
Two Things To Improve On:
- Something that I wish to improve on during my spoken word presentation is projecting my voice louder and creating more emphasis at the beginning and end.
- I also hope to expand my slam poem and add certain details that I din`t have time to include. I would also try to remove all of the cliches and be more creative with certain phrases.
