Learning about drugs and knowing the effects and long term symptoms is a must. Drugs are severely bad for you and your state of health. You can effect yourself and those who are around you. There are social, physical, and emotional effects to drug and alcohol usage and the different levels of problems. Lets take a walks rough of some problems.
life is surrounded by the good and bad things people encounter. Bad things such as the different life dangerous substances. Some physical consequences for oneself that may occur when using bad substances may lead to self harm, an overdosage of drugs, alcohol poisoning, and possibly driving under the influence and hurting yourself in a car crash. A few emotional consequences are depression, being stressed often, and severe anxiety. There are also social consequences such as loosing friends, grades may drop majorly, and possibly become distant from your family members.
Not only are there consequences for oneself, but it may effect other people including those around you. Physical consequences being substance misuse during a pregnancy, being drunk, and driving under the influences with others in your car causing severe injuries and even life threatening situations. Some emotional consequences may be things such as those being disappointed in a friend or someone close by, being stressed, and possibly angry or mad. A few social consequences could be getting kicked off a local sports team, being taken advantage of or being used by those people that you think are your friends, and loosing friends.
Coming to think about substance misuse really narrows things down and makes me see the bigger picture. I now realize the serious mistakes that you may fall into from substance misuse. Some situations I know to avoid are to stay away from those who aren’t your true friends and those that you know have bad profiles. Rules to live by to avoid these occasions are always say no to drugs, don’t let others control you, and drugs aren’t cool.
