Good Morning,

This is my descriptive paragraph project. It is about my friends hobby.

Good Morning,

This is my descriptive paragraph project. It is about my friends hobby.

What I have learned:

- Polynomial in a Single Variable
- Addition and subtraction of polynomial expressions
- The distributive property

Explain What I learned:

1.(3a-4b+c)+(3b-5c-3a) = 3a-4b+c+3b-5c-3a = -b-4c

2.(b+c)(a) = ba+ca or ab+ac

Week 5—[Trigonometric Ratios]

What I have learned:

- Ratios of Sides in a Right Triangle
- sin, cos, tan

Explain What I learned:

- The longest side is called the HYPOTENUSE(hyp)
- The side opposite the angle of X° is called the OPPOSTE(opp)
- The third side of the triangle is called the ADJACENT(adj)
- Sine ratio=opp/hyp
- Cos ratio=adj/hyp
- Tangent ratio=opp/adj

What I have learned:

- Conversion Within the Imperial System

2.Comversion Between SI(Metric)and Imperial Systems

Explain What I learned:

- 6 ft 7 in to inches: (6*12)+7=79 in

2.2.54cm/1in * 12in/1ft * 1m/100cm = 2.54/1 * 12/1ft * 1m/100 = 0.3048m/ft

1foot=0.3048metces

- Healthy Living
- This year, I am running everyday to meet DPA requirements (150 mins/week of moderate to vigorous physical activity).
- Next year, I will keep running everyday to meet DPA requirements.
- Other than physical activity, I will also need a concrete plan for running and swimming in order to lead a healthy life after graduation.

- Course Credits
- I need 80 credits to graduate. A typical course is worth 48 credits.
- 48 of them must be from required courses.
- 28 of them must be from electives.

- I need 80 credits to graduate. A typical course is worth 48 credits.

- 16 of them must be from Grade 12 courses.

- At the end of this year, I will have 10 credits.

- Community Connections
- I need 30 hours of work/volunteer experience. To show I completed this, I must show proof in the form of a pay stub or reference letter.
- I can start accumulating these hours in Grade 11.
- My plan to earn volunteer hours is through 25 hours.
- I will also need to complete a reflection that includes 30 hours of Work or Volunteer Experience during Gr.10-12, Show which Employability Skills you developed while at this particular job, and Describe what you did and how you benefitted from this experience. It will be 200 typed words minimum.

- Career and Life
- In addition to updating my resume, I will also create Post-Secondary plans and Financial Plan to show that I have a plan in place after graduation.
- When I graduate, my current plan is to go to university.

- Interview
- To prepare for the interview, I can look at the questions ahead of time. They are found on GT website.
- My interview will be with a Riverside staff member.

- The 3 people at Riverside who are here to help with this process are:
- Thomson
- Grad Transitions teacher

In Grade 12, I will find all the necessary documents AND submit them GT Website.

I will complete Grad Transitions 12 whenever I have Grad Transitions If I have it in 1^{st} semester, I must complete everything except the interview before work completed . In 2^{nd} semester, everything except the interview must be completed before the end of April.

What I have learned:

1.Simplifying expressions with multiple exponent laws.

2.How do we deal with negative exponents?

3.How do we deal with fraction exponents?

Explain What I learned:

1. 3x^2*5x^3=15x^5

2.5^4/5^7=5^4-7=5^-3=1/125

3.7^2/3=√7^3

What I have learned:

1.How to simplify square roots,cube roots,fourth roots,etc…

2.What is an entire radical? What is a mixed radical?

3.Hoe do we convert between the two?

Explain what I learned:

1.Simplify square roots: √250=√5*5*10=5√10 Simplify cube roots: 3√250=3√5*5*5*2=5

2.Radicals expressed in the from n√b are called entire radicals. Radicals expressed in the from a(n√b )are called mixed radical.

3. 3√14=√9*√14=√9*14=√126

What I have learned: 1.What is a prime?

2.Prime factorization

3.What is GCF/LCM

4.How can we use prime factorization to find GCF & LCM?

Explain what I learned: 1.In a natural number greater than 1, besides 1 and itself, there will be no other number called a prime factor.

2.Each prime number is a factor of the composite Numbers, called the prime factors of the composite.

3.GCF: Two or more integers have one of the biggest in a few.

LCM:Two or more integer multiples of the public.

4.Division table/Tree diagram.

My goal for lowering my level of stress vulnerability is 51.
