# Week 10—[Further Factoring]

What I have learned:

- Perfect square trinomial
- More complex different of squares

Explain What I learned:

- (p+q)²=p²+2pq+q²
- (p-q)²=p²-2pq+q²
- Replace A by x² and B by 4y² to get (x²-4y²)(x²+4y²) which factors further to (x-2y)(x+2y)(x²+4y²)

# Week 8—[ Addition and Subtraction of Polynomial]

What I have learned:

- algebra tile pieces representing polynomials addition of polynomials subtraction of polynomials distributive property

Explain What I learned:

- 5x²-3x²+2x-8x²= -11x²+7x
- 6x²-5x-2-(3x²-2x+7)=6x²-5x-2-3x²+2x-7= 3x²-3x-9

# Week 6—[ Surface Area and Volume]

What I have learned:

- Surface Area and Volume for cubes, cylinder, prisms, pyramids, cones, spheres

Explain What I learned:

- Cylinder: V=π r² h ;
- Cone: V=1/3(area of base)h ; S=πr²+πrs
- Square-Based Pyramid: V=1/3(area of base)h ; S=2bs+b²
- Sphere: V=4/3πr³ ; S=4πr² or πd²

# Needs vs. Wants

Need- Wants

- What it is.
- How you felt when you got it.
- When and how did you realize it was a want.
- How do you feel about it now?

T-SHIRTS

A t-shirts is from what i need to what i want. Because everyone need clothing, and when i have the basic clothes that i need,I began to want to have more different kinds of clothes. Because different kinds of clothes would be possible for me to have a look is different every day. When I 15 years old I began to realize that wear is no a casual things, the clothes are started from “I need” to “I want” in my life.

# My Career Compass

# Week 11—[Variable and Intercept]

What I have learned:

- The dependent variable and The independent variable
- X- and Y- Intercepts of a Graph

Explain What I learned:

- The dependent variable: the function relation between the specific number with another (or several) will change the number of changes and changes, is call the dependent variable
- The independent variable: Independent variables is considered to be the cause of the dependent variable.
- Y = f (X). This type is expressed as Y is the dependent variable, X is the independent variable.
- X-intercept: Y-coordinate is 0.
- Y-intercept: X-Coordinate is 0.

# Week 9—[Polynomial]

What I have learned:

- Polynomial in a Single Variable
- Addition and subtraction of polynomial expressions
- The distributive property

Explain What I learned:

1.(3a-4b+c)+(3b-5c-3a) = 3a-4b+c+3b-5c-3a = -b-4c

2.(b+c)(a) = ba+ca or ab+ac
