Ball Levels

 Instructions

For level 1, its just a demo, very easy level. You won’t be taking any points.
Use the arrow keys to go left or right and use the up arrow key to jump.
Collect all the stars which are 10 points each.
Watch out for ghosts and dragons, – 2 points every time you touch them.
Reach the portal to finish the level!
Their are gifts too +15.

(Hint) you can hold down the up key to glide while pressing either left or right.

What is Scratch . . .

Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share stories, games and animation they have made. As they create with scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically.

What I learned . . .

I learned how to make a game, like to animate, set randomization, to set scores, set a timer, controllers, all the above that makes a game.

Challenges . . .

There were a lot things I wanted to do for this game in different ways. I had used a similar programs like Scratch before, however it was hard to understand how to program. One of the things I wanted to program in the game, was after the ball touches the gift or a certain object, it would allow for the ball to touch any obstacle and it would disappear, allow a score to be on the demo, or add more levels, so they would be some improving in the game.

Overall my main challenge was understanding how to use Scratch, like all of the programming blocks and what to use them for and I had to consult the Scratch Wiki to learn how to make certain programs, like how to make my sprite jump and so on.
