Previous weeks successes:

I made my sad face for my inquiry project and I am almost done it; that was  very successful because I expected it to take much longer. I made the face, glazed it multiple times to layer different colours on top. All that’s left is to glaze it with a clear coat after it’s done firing.

Previous weeks challenges:

Last weeks challenge was glazing with both the coil pot and clay face. It was a challenge because of all the creases and the thickness of the glaze. When I tried to water it down that helped in the moment but after it was fired, it was no longer good. So, I will have to do another layer but without the water for this second time.

This weeks goals:

This weeks goals are to finish glazing the coil pot, then fire it once again, then putting clear glaze over it and then firing it for the last time. For the inquiry project, I would like to put clear glaze on it after it’s done firing and then fire it. In conclusion, I would like to finish both (the coil pot and the sad face).
