CORE COMPETENCY REFLECTION – MIND MAP

CORE COMPETENCY REFLECTION

When working on the mind map, I had to to develop and design it using new tools. I have further developed my critical thinking core competency by experimenting through the program, like using different shapes and using the images and forms provided to create a more specific thing (like the red shirt with the Statue of Liberty: Chika’s shirt). I made choices to help create the impact for this project; for example, I used a wavy circle instead of having a shape with straight lines to represent the differences (in religion and class) between the woman and Chika. However, despite coming from very different backgrounds, they were able to form a genuine human connection during a riot between their religions in an abandoned store. I have also created a page where I could brainstorm in order to get all my ideas across and monitor my progress before commencing the mind map. Additionally, I have made multiple drafts to adjust my actions so that I am making sure to produce the quality of work that I desire.
