For our Elemental Elements project we were asked to contact a company that worked with an element on the periodic table that we were interested in. Jacob, Minji, Braeden, and I chose Mercury (Hg) as our element and we contacted the Process Mercury Group. Unfortunately they did not get back to us. We were however able to find a lot of information on their website about what they do and how they work with Mercury (Hg).
Below are some picture of the Kahoot! game we played in class after our PowerPoint.

Very great work! I really like how detailed the PowerPoint is and it’s still engaging. The presentation was very fun to watch! I loved how you guys included a YouTube video so the audience could understand better, but also the Kahoot game which made the students participate and learn in a fun way. Good job!

I really liked your PowerPoint. It was really neat to learn that mercury has been found in Egyptian tombs. Great job!

This project was very well done! I could tell your group put a lot of effort into no only making sure you got a good grade on the project, but also making sure the audience didn’t get bored and understood what you were talking about. The YouTube video and the Kahoot game was very helpful to learn more about your element.

This is an excellent post. Would you mind if I shared it at one of my Connections-based Learning workshops? I appreciate that you were able to share a full post even though the organization you contacted didn’t get back to you. I love how you embedded the links to the Mercury Process group webpage into your PowerPoint which you embedded into your post. Your Kahoot was engaging and I enjoyed it immensely. Thanks for adding pictures of the experience to your blog. Great work!
