Francois is an architect and he is his own boss, he owns an architect company named anchermanmarchand architectects. he co-owns the company with his best friend, Tim.                                                                        francois says that they make a great team. I chose to interview francois because I would love to become and architect myself and design buildings. when doing this interview learned that it is much more work than I had anticipated to get to where he is today. But, I am willing to work hard to get there.

what are you passionate about your job?

“the ability to create something new that enhances the way people live, and that will last for a long time.”

what obstacles have you faced to get you where you are today?

“constant learning of new technologies associated with my work, to keep myself informed and up to date. economic highs and lows especially in housing markets affect my work. “

what advice would you pass on to someone interested in what you are doing?

“architecture is an ever evolving profession in design, technologies and noways energy consumption. good design sens, hardworking abilities and attention to details are assets to become a successful architect. Be also ready for constantly updating yourself to adapt to new construction technologies and building code updates.
