In the first link, the data table is very complicated. It is a table of all different crimes in the US over the years. I decided to chose how many people were murdered because I wanted to find out if the average number every 5 years has gone down. My infographic made it much easier to understand and read. At the top of the triangle you have the most recent years and at the bottom are the oldest. I found out that the average number of people murdered every 5 years is still pretty much the same. Except the average went down between the years 2009-2014. So now we can ask why? Why has the average been the same for almost 20 years and then between 2009-2014 why was the average lower?
