My Digital Footprint

1.How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities?

    • If your digital footprint shows unkind or disrespectful behaviors, I wouldn’t be so helpful for applying for collages or/and universities. Even future jobs, your employers can look up your name and BAM something bad could come up about you and you can lose your opportunity for employment. It could something just as small as a negative post on your Instagram or any social media type program.
  •
    • Perhaps your digital footprint can affect you positively too. If we could think before we post on social media or anythings that others might, that just might help our futures, getting jobs, applying for collages.

2.What are three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe?

    • Think before you post on the internet.
    • Don’t post personal online. Such as your phone number, your address, your age, etc.
    • Say you are going to post pictures of your friends, family, etc. Make sure to get their permission first.

3.What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

Think before you post. That even something small that could be hurtful could affect future job or collage opportunities. I could tell others by an email or even posting it on my blog.
