Hello Prime Minister Trudeau,
My name is Elias Moran and wanted to tell you about Oscillating water columns and why you should use them where you can. Oscillating water columns are good for converting wave energy. They collect energy from oscillation. They collect energy from oscillation of the seawater inside the chamber or hollow made by the action of waves. Oscillating water columns are machines with a semi-submerged chamber or hollow open to the ocean below, keeping a contained air pocket above a water column. The oscillating water column is one of the most successful energy producers made. The oscillating motion of the external free surface is made by the incident waves causing the air flow through a turbine that triggers an electrical generator to work. These machines have to be near the shore for them to work. The reason for this is because the closer to shore the more power the machine will catch from the power of the waves coming to it. More power from the waves means more power converted and generated. These are just some reasons Mr. Trudeau, I wont say them all because there needs to be some surprise with these to blow your mind.
