Cell story

Hi, i’m a thrombocyte.

I’m not big or strong, but I am very important. I live in the blood, chilling there before i need to work. I’m the smallest cell in the blood and my job is to create blood clots. Compared to the other cells in the blood, I am extremely small. I’m super important because when the host is losing blood at a rapid rate, I can make clots to prevent all the blood to escape.

Reflection

  1. I had to research “what are thrombocytes?”, “what do thrombocytes do?”, and “what do thrombocytes look like”.
  2. Google
  3. Google
  4. I looked into the source and looked at various different sources to confirm the information was correct
