Week 14 – Math 10

This week, I learned about slopes. When you are finding a slope on a graph, you use the rise over run method. Rise is how many times you go up, and run is how many times you go to the right on a graph. I also learned about the four different types of slopes, and how to determine which slope is which. The four different types of slopes include; positive slopes (when lines go uphill from left to right), negative slopes (when lines go downhill from left to right), zero slope (when lines are horizontal), and undefined slopes (when lines are vertical).

Here are my pictures. The first one is an example of how to use rise over run, and the second one is a picture of the four different types of slopes we learned about.
