Week 13 – Math 10

This week, I learned how to write an equation in slope point form. To write an equation in slope point form, you take the two points that are on the x-axis and the y-axis and determine the slope. For example, if the points were (4,0) and (0,5), the start of the equation would be 5/4. Now that you know your slope, you have to plot the x1 and y1 coordinates into the equation. Since the points in my example are (4,0) and (0,5) the equation would be; 5/4(x-4)=y-0
