Week 2 – Math 10

This week in Math I learned about reciprocals and how they can be very helpful when solving equations. The definition of reciprocal is; a mathematical expression or function so related to another that their product is one; the quantity obtained by dividing the number one by a given quantity. To find the reciprocal of a whole number, all you have to do is turn it into a fraction in which the original number is the denominator and the numerator is 1. For example, the reciprocal of 3/4 is 4/3. All you have to do is flip the fraction to get its reciprocal.
