Throughout this term I learned about rational numbers, exponents, polynomials, integers, fractions, and surface area. I think that the hardest unit for me was the rational numbers unit. I struggled with this unit a lot and didn’t fully understand everything. Next time that I don’t understand a unit or I’m struggling quite a bit, I need to make sure that I immediately get help and that I don’t hesitate to come in before school or at lunch or stay after school to get help. Although this term was pretty hard for me, I feel like I have made improvements since the beginning of the year till now. I have been getting extra help whenever I need it and in order to have a better time in this course this term, I will continue getting the extra help/support that I need to keep on improving. I’m proud of myself for always trying my hardest and even though I know that I can do a lot better this term, I feel like I have learned a lot of new concepts that I didn’t know a lot about in grade 8.

My goal for this term is to keep improving and making sure I get help as soon as I need it. I know that I can improve if I work as hard as I can and study really hard for all my tests and quizzes. I know were I can get extra help when I need it, and I am also going to make sure that I fully understand the next units so that I get better grades on my tests. I also want to practice on khan academy and IXL daily. I think that this will really help me get extra practice and I can also use these programs to study for tests.
