British Govern Quebec

as a British official I realize there are many alternatives to governing Quebec I have chosen the policy of assimilation to ensure the colony is properly run. Assimilation is the best policy to pick because we are not forcing them off the land leaving us vulnerable. We are not letting them keep their language and laws because ours are better. We are not isolating them because the French and the Natives can plan an attack on us. As I have outlined above, I believe the best policy for governing Quebec is assimilation. This will ensure that the colony will remain under British control and provide wealth for our glorious country.

Community Connections

The person I’m interviewing is Danni Alvarado, he has a business in photography. I chose to message him because I like the way he takes his photos and I think it’s cool how he made a business out of it.

Interview!!

Why are you passionate about your job?

“ I think the most fitting answer I could provide would be to tell you the my real passion is learning. Presently in what I have learned has evoked into a business, however what brought me near was my hunger for knowledge and thrust in wanting you to utilize what I’ve learned to further my growing skill set.”

What obstacles have you faced to get you where you are today?

“Along the way I have faced  many challenges, I think it would be difficult to pin point one that’s stood out the most as every challenge or hurtle is another opportunity to learn and grow. I think the most important thing here is to learn how these challenges came to be and what we can learn from it to avoid the situation arising again.”

What advice would you pass on to someone interested in what you are doing?

“The best advice I can give is to do what you love! If you love something find a way to monetize it and do that! Chase your dreams as now is the time to try with full effort and learn from the challenges life brings.”

would you be open to further contact from riverside students and if so, how can someone contact you?

“Yes, instagram is definitely the way to reach me as it presents an opportunity for students to view my work and of course we always have our social media’s within reach. @thedirectorsix”

how much do you get paid a month?

“As much as I would love to share this information to hopefully inspire students to thrive for the same outcome. All I can say is that this business venture has the back bone of all my other ventures and investments.”

Are you happy with your job?

”which one haha (inside joke), I think it’s safe to say that today’s typical description of a job may vary in today’s society. As I run two companies and do photography. I can safely say yes I am someone that always need to be on the love and evolving whether I’m business or personal.

Adaptive Tech Final Post

My group and I tried to make a simplified remote for tim because he has huntington’s disease and he has trouble with his movement, communication, and dexterity. So we tried making this remote for him so he doesn’t have as much of trouble switching channels, volume or turning on/off the Tv. During this project I connected with My group mates who’s name are Raphael, Tommy, and Jaymie. The skills i developed were my communication skills because my group talked to each other and we figured out how to make a remote for tim. i feel like i met my learning goals because i figured out how to use tinker cad an app that i didn’t know how to use but now i do. the collaboration with Tim was really good at first i felt awkward talking to Tim but now i don’t feel awkward talking to Tim as much as I did before. my group and I could have improved actually printed the remote for tim to actually use. I feel that my connection based learning experience is doing good and i feel like it will continue to be better.

Modelling Mitosis

in these two pictures are the interphase of the cell cycle. it represents the nucleus and the cell membrane, and when the DNA starts to replicate.

these two pictures represent the second stage, the prophase  stage. These pictures represent the replicated DNA molecules joining  together to form sister chromatids.

the first picture represents the metaphase stage when they line up in the middle. the second picture represents the anaphase stage when the sister chromatids separate.

the first picture represents the telophase stage. when the fibres disappear. the second picture represents the cytokinesis, when the cells divide into two.

What DNA is

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. The information in DNA is stored as a code made up of four chemical bases: adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T).

What DNA does

DNA contains the instructions needed for an organism to develop, survive, and reproduce. DNA sequences must be converted into messages that can be used to produce protein, which are the complex molecules that do most of the work in our bodies.

How does DNA copy itself?

It’s DNA is duplicated because the two strands of the DNA molecule have complementary base pairs, the nucleotide sequence of each strand automatically supplies the information needed to produce its partners

the bindings are: (A) with (T), (G) with (C), (T) with (A), and (C) with (G)

Explore the Field

My essential question is: How to make a motherboard small enough for a tv remote?

I think it is meaningful because I am helping a guy who has huntington disease. I am trying to make a simplified remote so it will be easier for him to use because he has troubles with the one he is using.

My exploration helps my answer my question because I learned how Motherboards work and what material they are made from. I learned what the smallest motherboard was because i needed to see if it would fit with the size of the remote my team and I are working on. I needed to know how a motherboard works and how the components are placed for it to actually work because without a motherboard in our remote we wouldn’t be able to use it with his tv.

These are some critical questions i tried to answer during this project:

  1. What materials do you need to make a motherboard?
  2.  How do you make a motherboard?
  3. What is the smallest Motherboard?
  4. How do you install a motherboard into a Tv remote?
  5. How does a motherboard work?

We used Tinkercad.com to design our Remote and 3D printed stuff that we needed for the remote.

We could’ve made our Tv remote look more realistic.
