More Than Just Good Food
The Frogstone Grill is near and dear to my heart. For years my family and I have celebrated birthdays and holidays there. It would always be brunch at 10:00 in the morning and while we would wait for our table we would use the many quarters we brought to play on the old arcade game frogger. We would hear the laughter and joy coming from the people already seated. When we ran out of quarters we would look at one of the fish tanks until the waitress would show us to our table. When we got to our table we would look at our menus and see some drawings on the side from kids who submitted their drawings of frogs to be on the menu. We would order our drinks and all the kids would get a little rubber frog toy tied around the handle of the cup and the waitresses were always so kind and thoughtful. Whenever I have gone to the frogstone grill for birthdays or holidays I have always had a great experience and I am not just talking about the food which also happens to be very good with the great eggs, hash browns, bacon etc which would always smell great. I am talking about spending time with my family for a couple of hours, catching up with what is going on in everyone’s lives and just getting to know one another a little bit better than before. When I go to the frostone grill I remember, my little cousin when she was still young, I remember both my great grandmas who have passed and I remember the times I went their for a special occasion and how much fun it was. The frogstone grill is my favourite restaurant because of these memories.
