In socials 9, our assignments and the stuff we did was a mix of hands on things that required critical thinking and we did stuff that also required critical thinking like tests, essays and PowerPoints. Near the end of the semester we did a 4-day immigration game which was hands on, and we got to move around the class. After we did a simulation with immigrants with passports with information about themselves and there were about 10 people who were the officers who we had to get past, we had to ask them question why we did get accepted or didn’t. This required critical thinking because you only get 1 question per year so you have to make it count. |
