♥Hello! Welcome to my edublog, my name is Darya I am a third year student at Riverside! It has been a great experience and i’ve grown throughout my journey. I can’t wait to make new memories and new friends and create new strongly build relationships with those within they community. From spending time at Riverside I have achieved goals and set many more. To give you an insight on what Riverside is to me, a community of kind, caring individuals assisting they up-incoming generation. A bit about myself is my interests out of school. Boxing through the on seasons, snowboarding being my main focus throughout the wintertime and surfing/dirt biking being my hobby throughout summer. I enjoy both but find surfing a great way to spend time outside, exercising. Especially the surfer tan I receive after a day out riding waves. They best feeling in the world is running with your board in your hands and feeling they grounds switch from warm sand to cold water, having the hot sun shine on your face, that feeling of a wave crashing on you and refreshing you while hearing your friend laugh. It’s iconic that my name, Darya, which in modern Persian means “sea”.  Other than surfing in my spare time, I like to get active such as working out and going on jogs, bike rides or going for a swim. On rainy days I like to stay in and entertain myself with movies/Tv shows. “It’s a good day to save lives” – Derek Sephered, from Grey’s Anatomy, which is one of my favourite Tv series. Outer Banks being my number one tv series and my go to on a boring indoor day. When I eventually get tired of Outer Banks I like to watch a more modern/older series, full house.  However; majority of my life is active and outdoors. On weekends I enjoy gathering my friends together and heading to they beach, we play a compilation of volleyball, soccer and spike-ball. Taking photos for future memories. The arts industry such as, painting, acting, music and taking photos plays another big role in my life. Just how differently you can see an art piece and how creative you can get makes me enjoy it that much more. Acting is a fun way to make inner connections, meet new companies and possibly new friends, enjoying what you’re doing and entertaining others is all you can ask for. Taking photo’s is a hobby and I am no professional, but again it’s capturing the moment, a taste of the past in the future. The fact how differently your eyes see and your phone captures is something you can never recreate but, you can have something to expand your creativity. Music is something I could never live without, if it’s just a rhythm or a song with lyrics I need music, no doubt about that. If I could go back to my 5 year old self and say anything to myself, it’d be, trying new things and learning from my previous mistakes to succeed and exceed my future self. A feel of the past can improve my future!
