Week 12- Absolute Value Functions

The Diffrent between an absolute value function compared to a normal one is that since in absolute values everything has to be positive so there’s never any negative values and when you graph a absolute value function it never goes under the x-axis.

Ex:

y=2x+1

is

is

y= I2x+1I

but since it’s absolute value and te line can’t go under the x-axis the line just bounces back up
