## Week 11- solving quadratic inequalities with one variable

This week we learned on how to solve quadratic inequalities.

The main thing to recognize is where the < is facing and also to know if a is negative or positive because that could change the whole anwser.

Example:

$x^2$-x-12 <0

First you factor the quadratic equation to : (x-4) (x+3)

x=4 and x=-3

Since it’s : +-+ because a is positive

Then that means the anwser is : -3<x<4 because the < was facing towards the zero so you wanted to find the negative part.
