Final Blow Reflection

After the first day of filming, we didn’t get much and i knew we needed to stop fooling around since on the first day within 2 hours of filming we got 3 scenes finished, which resulted as ~2 minutes in the short film. On the second day of filming, Calum wasn’t able to make it after school and had to leave in the middle of filming during lunch which was unfortunate, me and Kai got as much as we could done. On the last day, i sacrificed my rugby practice in order to finish this project, can’t say it was worth it, but at least we got the project done. I offered to edit where as Kai was doing the majority of the work but i did my part and Kai was fine with that. During this project i learned that you must get as much done with the period of time you have so you do not have to sacrifice time from other subjects.

Where I’m From

Where I’m from,

I am from a cage, a locked chamber

From wrapper and trash

I am from the gloomy side of the city,

Black, Wet, always smelled like smoke,

From Dann to Danny, changes made since day 01

Always told Was happy and strong

Made from Smoking and Violence

I am from Royal Columbian

System of beef and pork

From the time I called the cops, to when I got the cops called,

Family photos lie in the basement all alone, in the dark

Family represented by chains, they all hold each other, but one snaps and the rest fall

The Human Condition

A Korean man killed a Mexican trying to rob his liquor store. Now, his little brother wants revenge

In this video, a Korean man named Jhun Sayho has been robbed by a Mexican man, killing the Mexican man, the Mexican mans brother Eladio, wants revenge. All Eladio wanted was “justice” by doing so killing the Korean man. “JD” a black man follows Eladio into the store to make sure he doesn’t do something stupid. Mike Egan an off-duty police officer stopped by Jhun Sayho’s store. All four people are in the store at the same time when everything goes down. In the end all 4 people are dead in the one store. In this video I think that it represents the human condition as Humans are racist, uncaring, greedy, yet loving. I came to a conclusion with, hate, stereotypes and misunderstandings can lead to violence and situations where no one wins from
