About Me

I am passionate about learning history to understand the world today and ensure we have a better future for subsequent generations.  It is important to be an active citizen: make connections with the world around you and understand how events impact you both directly and indirectly.  Use this knowledge to make change – either in your local community, province, country,  or the world.  Live the words of Helen Keller – “I am only one; but still I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  I will not refuse to do the some thing I can do.”

I have been teaching in SD#43 for 22 years and am proud to call myself a Rapid!  As a settler on this land where I live, work, and play, I would like to acknowledge the Kwikwetlem, Katzie, Sto:lo, Qayqayt, Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish nations for sharing and protecting the territory and gifts of this land with us.

All my relations,
Ms. C. Ross
