Today we will begin Unit 2 The Struggle for Control of North America.

Our country’s history began as a collection of colonies under the French Empire, yet Britain was also interested in adding us to their empire.  The 18th century will be a tumultuous time for the beginnings of our country as we change hands back and forth between France and England, ultimately to become a part of the British Empire.  What will life be like for the First Nations and French colonists who are now governed by and live under the British flag?

Throughout this unit we will be working on a learning booklet, with specific tasks assigned each day.  Don’t work ahead!

Today’s focus is to complete up to page 6.
