Victorian Era
Prompt 1, Continuity: “Sports were played.” I put this in the continuity coloum as sports are still a very big part of modern life, many more sports have been created and played and watched all around the world.
Prompt 2, Change: “Upper class protected their skin-a tan was a sign someone worked outside and thus part of a lower class society.” I put this is change as a tan can mean many things, and working outside doesn’t just lead to lower class as there can be lots of money in outdoor work. a tan can also mean a tropical vacation.
Governing Quebec
“As a British official, I realize there are many alternatives to governing Quebec. I have chosen the policy of maintaining the status que to insure the colony is properly run”
I believe this as we are all people and they should still have rights to live were they are helping the economy. There is no need to change up as things worked good then. In further time they can become allies and help us if we treat them properly.
“As I have outlined above, I believe the best policy for governing Quebec is maintaining the status que. This will ensure that the colony will remain under British control and provide wealth for our glorious country.”
