Coleonasis, an A sexual planet in the dark galaxy.
I chose A sexual for my planet, the pros to my choice are: No energy in mating, no problems finding partners. The pro of sexual reproduction tho, is it creates genetical diversity.
The cons of A sexual reproductions are: there is no diversity in genes, while the cons of sexual reproduction are: Less efficient and mating behavior.
I chose mitosis, the process of this includes: a process where a single cell divides into two identical daughter cells. During mitosis one cell divides once to form two identical cells. The major purpose of mitosis is for growth and to replace worn out cells. I chose this method as my planet is A sexual and mitosis creates the same cells over and over again.
Climate Change Solutions
I chose to focus on air pollution for this project, but what is air pollution like in Canada?
Well pollutants like nitrogen oxides, ozone, sulphur dioxide and particulates are responsible for 7,700 premature deaths in Canada each year, and deaths and illness due to air pollution cost Canada $36 billion in 2015, according to a 2017 study from the International Institute for Sustainable Development.
From some research, this is what I think could help Canadians lower the air pollution by: funding projects in the North to reduce diesel for electricity. providing incentives towards the purchase of zero emission vehicles and funding to install more electric charging and hydrogen refueling stations.

What is air pollution like in Canada, how does air pollution benefit Canada, what are the downgrades air pollution in Canada

I mostly used google and other sites to find some ideas.
3.What was the process you used to investigate the topic?
I looked at the criteria he set and expanded from there
4.How did you verify and cite the information you found?
I looked on verified and well respected websites with good reviews.
5.How did the process of completing this challenge go? What could you have done better?
I think completing this project went pretty smoothly as a understood what we had to do then acted on it.
Power Information
I chose to study natural gas as a power source for this project, here’s what i found out.
Benefits of Natural gas: environmentally safer, Cheaper, can do more than just heat your home, doesn’t use harmful fuels.
Challenges: Pricing techniques, Gaining access to low-cost, high volume reserves, The political disagreement.
Issues with natural gas: Air pollution is the main problem as of cleaner burning than other fossil fuels, the combustion of natural gas produces negligible amounts of sulfur, mercury, and particulates. Burning natural gas does produce nitrogen oxides, which are precursors to smog, but at lower levels than gasoline and diesel used for motor vehicles.
If I had to tell the prime minister about natural gas this is what I would say: Its cheaper and more environmentally friendly way of power, i would recommend it.
Current Electricity demo
in this photo you can see a example of ohm’s law,using a battery and some wire, it lights a bulb up.
A parallel circuit has two or more paths for current to flow through. Voltage is the same across each component of the parallel circuit. The sum of the currents through each path is equal to the total current that flows from the source.
Bonus:If getting shocked with a circuit with a higher current is dangerous, does that mean that a higher voltage is harmless? Not harmless but the voltage isn’t the thing to kill you.

Fictional Science Story
Irresponsible Student:
A student who was not paying attention while the teacher is talking mixes the wrong substances with each other inside a beaker, this made a small explosion and big mess and gets in the students eyes as he/she is not wearing safety googles & just wipes their eyes instead of using the eyewash station that is located by the emergency stop and fire blanket.
The teacher was busy with other students and did not see or hear the accident. the student deny’s the facts that he/she should tell the teacher and cleans the mess up himself without the teacher knowing anything happened.
Later the teacher finds out about the mess and informs the student that the substances they were using is toxic to human skin, the student did not know that the teacher had explained that because he/she was not paying attention when the teacher said. The student has to go to the hospital.
Responsible Student:
A student is working with fire, he/she is being very careful and cautious and using safety googles when working with a thermometer.
A random flame roars up and burs the students arm. With no delay, the student remembers the teachers instructions and runs over to the sink while informing the teacher what is happening, the student then runs the burnt arm under cold water for 15 while explaining to the teacher what had happened.
After the student tells the teacher and puts water on it, he or she goes to the school nurse for a check then lets his/her parents know what happened.
