Difference: 4

Finding $t_{50}$ :

$t_n$ = $t_1$ + (n – 1)(d)

$t_{50}$ = 1 + (50 – 1)(4)

$t_{50}$ = 1 + (49)(4)

$t_{50}$ = 197

Finding the sum of the first 50 terms:

$S_n$ = $\frac{n}{2}$ ( $t_1$ + $t_n$ )

$S_{50}$ = $\frac{50}{2}$ (1 + 197)

$S_{50}$ = 25(198)

$S_{50}$ = 4950
