How do humans overcome the inner conflict after the loss of a loved one?

In the What I Wish I Could Have Told My Mom video, directed Buzzfeed video, a young woman describes her emotional journey of grief based on the years she had lost with her mother. She touches on things she wishes she could’ve shared if her mother was present. The conflict of grief is a long process, which is taken steps at a time. The young woman describes herself before the passing as a “rebellious little six-year-old”, carefree and full of adventure. The young woman dates back to events and milestones she is grateful for that she shared with her mother. Although the journey she experiences is tough, she learns and grows to be aware of all the amazing things her mother provided despite her sickness. During the difficult journey of grief, she acquires many things along with gratitude and respect for her treasured mother. Humans experience great amounts of pain, but they are resilient; we need to be more aware and grateful to others and find joy in simplicity. This video shows that even in the journey of grief, gratitude and memories give us closure and feeling of comfort.
