I will be giving my general opinion on why technology is beneficial in today’s society, and throughout the course of the video hopefully persuading any viewers to think so as well. James Comey once said, “Technology has forever changed the world we live in. We’re online, in one way or another, all day long. Our phones and computers have become reflections of our personalities, our interests, and our identities. They hold much that is important to us.” Technology plays such an essential role in our everyday lives because we have become used to relying on our devices whether it’s at home, at work or just walking down the street. It has enabled us to have an easier way of life and to not work as hard as we would have had to. Technology in the classroom has enabled us to work more productively and have more options when it comes to doing our assignments or projects because of all of the tools that we have on our devices. Vehicles have come a long way by using technology because of the knowledge that we are able to have about constructing them and evolving them into something greater and greater each year. With the data behind manufacturing vehicles were now able to have electric vehicles which is now beneficial towards our economy as well. Over the years, we have been able to gather data with medical research and that has let us come further into developing cures for many deadly diseases. Technology has enabled me to just take my smartphone out of my pocket at any time and make a phone call to someone else on the other side of the world. It has modernized our entire world and brought everyone together with all the advancements that we have. Without technology we would still be in the stone age.
