On December 9 2015, our science 9 class which arranged a Skype call with a astroscientist that my science teacher (S.Robinson) found and thought that she looked nice enough to contact and have a Skype call with our science class.It was very educational having a Skype call with x NASA employee. i enjoyed it a lot more than i would have reading the science textbook. a question that was asked was: what was the amount of money spent to create the mars rovers. She replied with giving estimates of all the previous rovers sent to mars. One thing that caught my attention during the call was what happened with the other rovers that were sent up before the one she worked on. she replied with saying that one got stuck in sand not enabling it to charge, so its battery died and its pretty much not working anymore. the other rovers they sent up are still driving around on mars to this day.
