Week 3 Burton Math 10

This week in math class I have learned how to solve sine ratio, cosine ratio, and the tangent ratio by remembering the slogan “SOH CAH TOA”. This helps us easier remember as SOH means sine ratio = opposite/hypotenuse; CAH means cosine ratio = adjacent/hypotenuse; and TOA means tangent ratio = opposite/adjacent. For instance, Tangent ratio 60 would equal to 1.732 if you do your calculation right on your calculator, and the opposite side would be 173% of the adjacent side as I mentioned above. If the sine ratio is 12, it would equal to 0.207, meaning that the opposite side is 20.7% of the hypotenuse side
