One question that stumped me this week was in lesson 1.6: Mixed & Entire Radicals. During the lesson, the question was asking us to find the length of the hypotenuse in a triangle.
At first, I wasn’t sure how to calculate into the equation using the square roots given. But after I knew that mixed radicals were more efficient for calculating, we could convert them into numbers to find the exact length of the hypotenuse. (Question above)
[A Hint I Learned:] Mixed radicals: easier for calculating, & Entire Radicals: easier for ordering/comparing.
This question we did during the lesson made the triangle question on the skills check much easier.
