Written Explanation

A. To begin, the operator uses a magnet to pull the train off the platform. This demonstrates magnetic energy.

B. The train then goes down an inclined plane using the wheels and axels on the train and mechanical energy. This demonstrates an energy transfer of magnetic energy to mechanical energy.

C. The train then pushes the golf ball into the paper towel roll and the golf ball travels down the roll using gravitational energy. This demonstrates an energy transfer of mechanical energy to gravitational energy.

D. The golf ball hits the hair clip and the hair clip lets go of the pulley.

E. The pulley hits the train and the train begins to move using mechanical energy. This demonstrates an energy transfer of gravitational energy to mechanical energy.

F. The train travels down the track using wheels and axels and mechanical energy.

G. The train travels onto the keyboard and hits the space bar. Using electric energy, the video starts and using sound energy you can hear the video. This demonstrates two types of energy transfers. The first is mechanical to electric and the second is electric to sound.
