Week 1- Greatest Common Factor

This week I learned Prime Factorization and how it can be used, Like finding the Greatest Common Factor.

The first thing you have to do is find the all the prime numbers for each number using a Division Table or a Tree Diagram. Once you have both sets of Prime Numbers you take the ones both numbers have in common. If a number has multiple of one number you take the lowest exponent. Then you multiply all the numbers and that gives you the Greatest Common Factor.
