Did you enjoy this lab? Why or why not?

Yes, because it was something different, I liked the fact we used the rice cake rolls because it was something I’ve never used.

What reasonable (i.e. no candy!) thing would you do to alter this recipe to keep it healthy or make it healthier? What would this add to the recipe (i.e. vitamins, minerals, fats)?

Something I would’ve changed, would’ve been the choice of ingredients, maybe add something more sweet that would go well with the shrimp because the sauce was the only flavour in my opinion.

Often, rolls like these are served deep fried. Most people understand that deep frying food is not healthy for us. What exactly does deep frying do to our food? Why does it become unhealthy? What, if any, nutrients are added that are not great for us?

it is submerged in hot fat and oils so our food becomes crispy. It becomes unhealthy because of all the extra and added fats and oils into our food, though it tastes good it’s not healthy. The unhealthy nutrients are fat, oil and saturated fats
