Blog Post 1 – MATH 10

What I learned most about this week was prime factorization, but not so much about actually prime factoring but how it ties in with doing work with radicals and lcm and gcf, because you always have to use it to find those things reliably which is pretty interesting because the way I learned those before made it so it more a trial and error type of thing checking every multiple rather than doing an actual formula to find it. This, for me, makes it way easier because instead of putting in a lot of tedious work I can just use a simple formula that doesn’t take very long to do, Another thing that I found interesting about Prime factorization is that every single number has a way to break down into prime numbers, which makes sense and is obvious but I’ve never thought about it before so its pretty interesting.
