This week we learned how to factor simple trinomials.
- first we found all the factors of 18 then decided which pair would get to 3 (specifically 3x)
- -3 and +6 would have an answer of 3.
- Then we took the x squared and grouped each x with the -3 and the +6.
- Lastly (optional) I checked to see if I factored correctly by using the “claw method”.
