These are the books that we were able to take from the universities that came on Thursday. My fear is post-secondary and growing up. I am scared of what it will be like, the people there and from all the stories online, it seems like it will make you extremely stressed out. Even choosing which university I should apply to scares me. My parents and grandparents want me to be a doctor, so I have high expectations and I don’t want to let them down. Growing up scares me a lot too because you have to maintain a mature and professional image when applying/working and I feel like I’m too childish and my appearance and the way I talk makes it hard for people to take me seriously. This can affect choosing which school is best for me. It can be used against be when I hear many terrifying stories of how other people’s post secondary life was. I can reduce this power by hearing positive stories, just taking the risk and choosing the best school and hope for the best. I’ve been putting off everything about post secondary but now it’s getting to the point where I need to do more research on universities and I learned that it scares me more than I thought.
It is scary!! But you will rock it 🙂
