The assignment I have chosen to use my core competencies to reflect upon is Riccioli d’oro e i tre orsi. I enjoyed completing this assignment because I got the pleasure of making a PowerPoint adding visuals adding text and adding audio a skill which I did not previously possess therefore I improved my PowerPoint abilities. I also enjoyed reading the cute story Goldilocks and the three bears and learning more Italian improving my oral and written Italian fluidity. some of the challenges I face completing this assignment were properly understanding new words in order to find them and I also had some troubles with the tech aspect and the digital part. if I were to do the assignment again I would perhaps have included a video of myself reading the story to make the written and read components go together more smoothly. I can now more confidently put together a more impressive presentation that aids in teaching simple Italian words in speech patterns. this assignment really helped me develop my creative thinking core competency because I had to think of a way to incorporate all aspects of the story into one presentation that is cohesive and easy to understand.
