Walter Mitty Daydream Six
“He took one last drag on his cigarette and snapped it away. Then with that faint, fleeting smile playing about his lips, he faced the firing squad; erect and motionless, proud and disdainful, Walter Mitty the Undefeated, inscrutable to the last.” Whoosh, as he seen this guy wearing all black run passed him and watched pick pocket someone on the streets and this made him distraught so he chased him down and trapped him in a dark alley , the guy dressed in all black dropped the wallet Walter Mitty took step by step up to him and picked up the wallet from off the dirty wet ground and started walking back out the alley and turned around to look at the guy that was dressed in black and he was gone.
… thud as the drugstore door closed out came mrs. Mitty and said to him “why didn’t you go in the car you are getting soaking wet in the rain” Walter was just so confused and only reason that came to mind was “I was just waiting for you here” they both walked back to the car to head home, as they were driving home they see a man that is jogging along the road and he was wearing a black jacket and Walter became Insolent towards Mrs. Mitty but as they were driving passed the guy, their car was acting up and so they had to pull over and the running stop to help them but then this down force of rain came down apon them and go hit with a storm and Mrs. Mitty offered the runner a ride to ever he was running to but Walter was full of Disdainful towards the runner Mrs. Mitty said “ be careful the roads are slippery!”
As they dropped off the runner at the stop he wanted to go as he open his door a burst of wind went passed and made in rethink about the man who grabbed the wallet and remembered why he could remember this guy wearing all black so well. It was him , he was the one who stole the wallet and was chased down.
