You will design and create an item to be printed on the 3D printers using Tinkercad. You will be required to go through all of the tutorials, then select an item that you will personalize and print.
To get you started…
Step 1 | Join the Class
1. Go to https://www.tinkercad.com/joinclass
2. Enter the class code: 6W4FZXEW2
Step 2 | Tutorials
1. Select Tinker at the top of the page
2. Select 3D design
3. Scroll down and begin the tutorials at the bottom of the page.
Step 3 | Make and Personalize
1. Choose any 1 of the tutorial objects that has already been created
2. Go through the process of creating the item
3. Personalize the item. After you have created the item, you must now personalize it. You must make changes to it and alter it.
Step 4 – Edublog | Teams
1. Title – Create a blog post and title: 3D Printer Introduction
2. Category – Tech Team
3. Tag – #TechTeam3DPrinter
4. Evidence – Post a picture and/or a video of your creation and the learning process in the blog post
5. Reflection – Answer the following question in detail in your blog post
– What are some things that were challenging?
– What are some things that worked well?
– What did you learn? What personalization did you do?
6. Teams – Copy and paste URL from Edublog post
