Week 8- multiplication of binomials

This week we started our unit on polynomials, we started by reviewing the vocabulary for the unit and then started solving problems using different meathods such as distributive property, and foiling, personnaly I have always found polynomials difficult, in general, as a unit but so far this unit has been pretty straight forward.

Above is an example of multiplying binomials via foiling, foiling stands for F: the first term in each bracket, O: outside terms, I: inside terms, and L: last term in each bracket. To “foil” this equation, first you multiply x with x, then x with 4, then 6 with x and then 6 with 4, this should give you x^2 + 10x + 24
