This week we focused on measurment, measurment is a unit where you learn how to determine aspects like surface area, volume, perimeter, circumference (for circle geometry) etc based on given measurements like vertical height, slant height or any side length of the object. I personally find the measurement unit fairly challenging because of the variety of different aspects you have to consider.

This problem asks you to determine the area of the base of the given triangular prism. Because you are given two of the three lengths for the triangular base you can use the Pythagorean theorem to solve this question as shown above.
