Racism has changed a lot, everyone is fair now. In the 1900s, Black citizens have to vacate their seat for white citizens if the driver tells them to do so, else they will be arrested. If the bus is full and there are only black citizens waiting at the bus stop, the bus will just pass the bus stop. The black citizens can only sit on the “colored section”, they can’t sit on the white seats. Blacks go to different schools from whites. Black people were slaves owned by White people. Black citizens were discriminated against in Canada and the U.S. Nowadays, everyone is fair now; black citizens don’t have to vacate the seat for white citizens. Bus drivers will stop for the black citizens although the bus is full. Black citizens can choose where to sit. They go to same schools together. Nobody is anyone’s slave. Now, it is much better than the 1990s. These are the examples from the article.
