this week we focused trinomials we had to brush up on factors because every question had do with factors . If we did not know factors then you will be having a hard time⏰ because some questions you could not do. Also the last thing I learned was how to factor simple trinomials at first I was confused 🤷♀️ on how to do some questions but it was just the answer to the questions. This is what learned this week.

Math 10 week 9
this week in in learned about polynomials it difficult at first but then I got a hand in it. One of the things I learned was how to solve questions 1.h on page 295.
(4m + 3n)(4m – 3n)
first the 4m multiply and 4m then -3n which is
16m2 – 12mn
then you multiply 3n and 4 m and then multiply 3n and – 3n which is
+12nm- 9n
16m2-12mn+12mn-9n
and because -12mn+12mn are like numbers they cancel each other out and the answer is
16m2-9n2
by Doing the claw it makes it easier to see what you are multiply together.
Week 6 math 10
This week in math we learned about measurment.
some of th things that i learned this week is about how to find the volume of cones and spheres and also how to find the surface area.
To find the volume for a cone for example is 1/3 times area of base times height.
Week 5 math 10
This week in math we learned about measurement and the different ways you can measure.
Some of the ways you can measure you can use your thumb for small objects, your hand for medium size objects, also you can use your wingspan to measure and for the really small things you can use coins.
Another thing I learned about how you can calculate the inches into meters and other measurements.
The way to do so is for example you have 8 feet and 3 inches and you need to convert it to cm so 1 feet equals 30.48 cm so you turn it into a fraction so 8 over 1 cm and 30.48 over 1 ft so the ones cancel each other out and you multiply the 8 and 30.48 which equals 243.84. Then you move onto the 3 inches so you do the same thing 3 inches equals 2.45 cm so 3 over 1 cm and 2.45 cm over 1 inches so the ones cancel each other out and multiply the top numbers which equals 7.68 you add both 8 and 3 answers together and you get 251.46 cm2.
Week 4 in math 10
This week in math we learned about different types of exponents to solve a lot of these exponents questions we had to use formulas some of the formulas we used were:
Multiplication law – for the multiplication law you add the exponents
Divison Law – for the division law you minus the two exponents
Zero law- the for the zero law is when the exponent is 0 it actual is one
Power of a power- you multiply the exponent
negative- when the questions is division question you recipicate the negative exponent
