I am thankful for even being able to celebrate thanksgiving with all of my family members because there are people out there that don’t have food, shelter, or family to celebrate with. Many people also don’t have a safe and fun place to go to school, so I am also grateful for living in a country where a safe work and school environment is available and accessible to everyone, regardless of race, gender, etc. I am also thankful for the time that I live in because many people years ago were forced to go through war and poverty and I am lucky that I live in a time where Canada is a democratic country, where world wars are in the past, not the present and where everyone has the right to vote and be whoever they want to be.
