All of us are dead is about a zombie apocalypse that takes over south Korea that started out from a science experiment. As this apocalypse spreads, a group of high school students try to protect themselves and others while dealing with their own teenage problems. While the students are trying to get to safety, the government tries to stop the spread of this vicious outbreak. Going from flashbacks about horrible childhood to high school bullies, this show really demonstrates the strength and will power humans can have when faced with an epidemic. The lightening plays a big role in this show. The dark undertones come alive each time before the zombies appear which adds to the fear the transgresses through the screen. the only time this doesn’t happen is when a loved one of the one of the students gets bit, when the lighting shift to a more sorrow, unsettling mood, as if all the love and joy in the world has been stripped from them. In multiple other television shows, the music usually plays a big role but in this show I would say the silence plays an even bigger role. The tension between the character, whether it’s because of love, anger or fear, is really brought through the silence.
